at night, in my front porch,
I close my eyes
and stare up at the sky
and try to recall all the night skies
I have seen through my journey
I listen and gently reach for the memory
when I open my eyes
I realize
there’s glow in my heart
stars of precious moments
wishing me well as I take step forward
