Obstacles

it’s like a blindsided hit
the way curve hall strikes
or waves pushes against:
how obstacles come in the way
just as you taste the sweet smooth sailing
all comes crashing down
as if they had been waiting

ah well.
once more into the fray, it is then.
one more day.
one more chance.
