Curtain

a large white curtain
ballooned large
like a lady’s dress
as the wind blew
through the window.

it flapped leisurely
and deflated;
then it ballooned again,
making another wave
like a leisurely flap
of a giant whale’s tail.

I don’t know why,
but I felt it told me most clearly
what the world’s beauty is
on this normal summer day.
