It dawned on me:
this is it as a life I have known.
I couldn’t care any less about how others viewed me.
What mattered was whom I knew,
how I made them feel,
and what I have done for them.
In the end, I remembered the forgiving hand.
I remembered the laughters I shared,
and I remembered the gratefulness I felt towards those who have put a faith in me.
