come, stay and let's talk. it's a good day to be alive
Like a wall of ice against a glowing sun,
a memory deeply buried in the back of the mind emerges.
Between what is appropriate and what isn’t,
I hesitated and regurgitated my words.
And then miscommunication and misunderstanding ensued,
Until I had to straighten it out and realize
that eventually, the life converges to an end.
So let me at least just say: hi.

this blue feeling is like a giant whale
swimming quietly in deep dark ocean
solemnly, redoubtably, moves it does.
inevitable, chilling effect its presence has.
yet, we swim. Mechanically, effortfully we move.
glimpse of the night sky,
blips of scattered star above high
we move and we hope it will be worthwhile.
어둡고 춥지만
우린 앞으로 나아가야만 한다.
수 많은 이들과 했는 약속을 기억하며.

the ice floated across the river;
for a while it lingered
momentarily as if it was dreaming
in the middle of the desert swimming
through thousands and millions of grains
of white snow flakes waiting to melt in rain;
but, for now, it’s calmly glaring into the sky
counting its blessings, staring into the eye
of the sunset,
the inevitable end.
