Perhaps this is the beginning of something,

something that breaks away from the chains of law

of nature.

Perhaps it existed before I was born,

but then again,

I was only alive for a flitting second of the earth.

So, perhaps now is the time to hold on to the invisible

To cross this Rubicon

As some say, ‘life is for the brave’.

River

This river, in particular,

does not overflow, spilling its guts

onto the sidewalk for pedestrians to walk.

These invisible gangs of droplets, all crumble into

this narrow valley of single destination in an instant.

Ever-so permanent, yet ever-so changing,

the river continues to flow at the same height.

Fast and frivolous, slow and serious,

purely clear, and muddily thick ones

all sang a song that flashed an instant,

then disappeared from the pedestrian’s iris,

burning its imagery into the memory.

Mutant

Stranded into a world

unimagined,

I find this life too nauseating.

before I can finish puking

all of my undigested rage and confusion,

I tripped and fell into an eternal ennui,

a space of blankness, grains of abysmal calmness fill.

I dig a black hole to engulf all this in a blink,

splitting a tiniest particle unfathomable to a naked eye.

Now,

for now,

I breath.
