by flashy titles and roles

at the mountain
your way is in front of you

implore your inner strengths and carry
yourself with delight and awe

perhaps I had been blind
to my own faults.
once I stepped out of my problems,
I started to see.
grateful for those who informed me
guilt arises for causing a fuss.
hopefully, one day, all will be okay.
don’t run away when things get hard.
sleep on it, eat and drink, and exercise.

unlock your potential
and be your true self.
room to roam and roar with freedom
may go a far way for your health
as long as no one is hurt, give it a try

And the end is no where in sight.
I stare at the stars,
and feel where the direction is.
it’s a very long walk,
but I hope to get there one day.
and along the way,
hopefully I will meet people
who will share my journey with me.

in the middle of cemetery,
or amongst ocean of people at a party,

when I walk on the street,
I like to stare at apartment windows.
once in awhile, I’ll catch an eye contact
with a bored resident looking down
they will jump and hide themselves.
it’s kind of funny,
how an unsuspecting connection
can be so surprising.
just to let them know they are not alone,

the living, as it is, is already thorny enough
the hardening has become old, so I wonder
if you can be a little more gentle
it’s in the air, in the space, in the thoughts.
