I thought smelled the scent of cheese
but then again, it could have been urine.
I turned and stared down onto a rock.
a grey, squared, flat rock.
there was a flower, albeit withered, on it.
a puff of white, yellow, and light purple
here and there carefully strewn about
and you think for a bit
who would have placed it there so carefully
as the dawn gets broken by the rising sun
and the cool azure hue dissipates
could it have been his last prayer
could it have been his last offering
could it have been his last hope?
one man’s fight,
one man’s statement,
and one man’s journey.

ah why did I touch again
this contagious bursts of fire
buzzing of thousands bee
on the tip of my tongue
I grasp into air
for a glass of milk that is not there
and then I realize
what my intestine will go through
not too long from this ordeal
oh well.
it was fun while it lasted.

between running and building
a castle of your own
you don’t move: the ocean wave will catch up
you move too fast: the castle wobbles
hopefully, in this intricate dance
we’ll find our own haven
and sing to the rhythm

like the resistance of air as you soar towards the sky,
you feel each part of your body pulled by gravity

if you withstand this pressure
you will reach your goal
you will enjoy freedom in the atmosphere

there are so many things you would want to say
but
you knew you had to keep them in;
stoicism, inferiority complex, principle;
you name it. there’s enough reason to sacrifice
but one day, the words will start to bud
growing into a tree, feeding on imagination
and you may build the world
with the words you’ve kept in.

we elevate our senses to another level
is a speed of thought truly limited

yes to leap of faith
yes to deep dive into the unknown
and yes to willing to try

I want to get closer to my dream.

죽을 각오로 싸울 용기도 필요하지만
약함을 포옹할 줄 용기도 필요하다.
죽음을 무릅쓰고 악바리로 살기도 하지만
지혜롭게 살기 위해 더 유하게 살기도 한다.
한가지만이 옳은게 아닌
여러가지 방법이 있을지도 모른다.
