it is like a magic
when you can suddenly remember
every minute detail of past sceneries
when you can live in the present
and vividly recall what had happened in past
truly grateful for this happenchance
wonder what will be remained of this day
in the far further.

it was as if the sky had cleared
by a water fall of shooting stars
across the stratosphere
a hot, thundering roar passed by.
what’s left is reverberating, spacious, and cool.
like an ironclad hammered
in smouldering ember,
cooled in deep blue ocean,
my head was clear like deep space,
full of wonders, possibilities, and unknowns
my heart willingly churning
for more adventures.
suddenly, all my fears became jokes
for hearty laughters.
what gives?
will this last?
I am just grateful to have a glimpse
through this window of clarity.
let’s see what we have for tomorrow.

I hope you can hear this music in the air.
no effort needed, just a relaxed heart.
we will have our fair share of battles, oh yes.
before the storm comes, live a little.
go fetch your childhood dream,
soft spots you’ve been guarding,
soak deep into emtions: sadness, happiness.
then when the storm arrives,
all of your fears will have passed
all that remains of you shall be free at last.

in the thick of thin things,
it’s easy to lose the sight of purpose.
because we need to run fast,
precious memories slip through your fingers.
if we slow down too much,
the world marches ahead.
to stay vigilant with clear eyes and full heart,
that is what I hope to fulfill.

I would have been still in the same place.
yet, I moved on. Thanks to all of the help.

propelled me forward, giving me more
reasons, encouragements, and inspirations.
I hope to live up to their standard
to help those who are following

and achieve what they can achieve.

instinctively we know
what we want.
noise of politics,
other’s sentimentality,
all important, but,
do we exist for others
or do others exist for us?
what is the justice
if it is to serve none
but one person?
what is more important?
truth or love?
questions ensues,
but deep down
the answer blankly stares at us.
do not look turn your gaze away from it.

do not ignore the sound of your heartbeat.
listening others is important too, yes,
but take time to silence the noise
and hone in on listening to your heart
do you hear it?
the orchestral music of your life
the colorful, rhythmic bounce
serendipitous, harmonious tunes
seize it. take it all in, and live it.
you deserve to hear this melody.
it will guide you the way to home
home that will always be within you.

before the life slips away
bring back that light in your eyes,
live in this moment.
do not let it perish in worries of future.
see threats as they are
and dance with them.
at the end of this parade,
we’ll take our bow and leave.

one day, I looked at my legs,
I realized it is a finite thing.
Unlike the equations,
the websites, the photos,
it is slowly, surely, aging.
I wondered if I thought
my legs would last forever.
I realized there’s not much time for me either.
I’ve been trying to survive so far.
Now, I’d like to love.
I’d like to live every second
appreciating all things that are love.
So, I sow love from within
slowly dancing in the rain.

I didn’t notice the signs until they turned red
I am not trying to find or beg for solace
but I do know I need a help
as my high school history teacher once said:
“help”
it’s not a white towel thrown out yet
I just need to get out of this maze
that I have put myself in.
