how can I say this;
I played the cards with
the one and only
true image of me.
after the explosion,
after the marathon,
the two eyes that stared back
were of a foreign but familiar stag
glowing in darkness perhaps
knowing what must happen.

come, stay and let's talk. it's a good day to be alive
how can I say this;
I played the cards with
the one and only
true image of me.
after the explosion,
after the marathon,
the two eyes that stared back
were of a foreign but familiar stag
glowing in darkness perhaps
knowing what must happen.

onslaught of fear in thin air
merciless march of clock needle
felt heavily on wrinkles of skin
yet the rising yolk of the sun
blossoming beyond the curve of the earth
drums the blood through the veins
rise, rise again
rise, rise again

keep going,
no matter what you feel now
no matter what you regretted about
just keep going.
one day when you wake up,
may you find joy in what you see
isn’t it a mystery
what a future may hold
what you might have become
so just keep going
12.5.2020
have you ever held something so tightly
that tiny soft red blisters bulged on quietly
when it was yanked away from your fist?
have you ever clawed your way on a cliff
with nothing but your bare tender fingers
not feeling the remains of bursted blisters?
have you ever ran towards the fire
forgetting everything before the reminder
that you, too, was once a tender dreamer?

I ran until the time morphed the space.
the familiarity of the past,
the mystery of the future,
blended into a globular furniture.
the pouring of memory does not stop.
will ricocheting droplets of the raindrop
recall its home enshrined in mists
thousands of kilometers above in space?

carrying a coal on my back,
I swam across a bank of oil
perhaps I paddled too blindly
perhaps I swam too blithely
In the darkest corner of the night
awoke a flame as if out of spite
scarred all-over,
but no matter,
for the ride on wave
is yet to end

I threw a pebble into the ocean.
it reverberated back to my feet.
I threw a couple more into the water.
it frizzled and wrinkled into a fleet.
I kept the pebbles in my fist.
the ocean spoke in waves.
I opened my fist and let the pebbles drop and roll.
They rolled and rolled until they’ve become drops of sands.

This river, in particular,
does not overflow, spilling its guts
onto the sidewalk for pedestrians to walk.
These invisible gangs of droplets, all crumble into
this narrow valley of single destination in an instant.
Ever-so permanent, yet ever-so changing,
the river continues to flow at the same height.
Fast and frivolous, slow and serious,
purely clear, and muddily thick ones
all sang a song that flashed an instant,
then disappeared from the pedestrian’s iris,
burning its imagery into the memory.

Stranded into a world
unimagined,
I find this life too nauseating.
before I can finish puking
all of my undigested rage and confusion,
I tripped and fell into an eternal ennui,
a space of blankness, grains of abysmal calmness fill.
I dig a black hole to engulf all this in a blink,
splitting a tiniest particle unfathomable to a naked eye.
Now,
for now,
I breath.

even the cruelest children remember that
at night, they must go home
snuggle in a comforts of duvet their grandma
made for them one thread at a time
go home. rejoice in love you receive
undconditionally, heedlessly
honor will remain everywhere
