When you run,
Start slow.
And then pick it up bit by bit.
Slow down once in a while
But when you see your chance,
When you feel the stars are lining,
When you taste sweetness in the air,
Run as fast as you can
Squeezing every liquid out of your muscles
See the white flash in front of your eyes
When you are through
You will know
You have done it.
You have lived the best part of this run.

Effort
I suppose the best effort
is one where you can’t think any more
you are just pushing your body
as the gravity pull you down
focusing on breathing
and making sure you are awake
it is a grueling grind
but surely all these will pay off.

we are well into the twilight
Sparks are around us
As cold breezes by
we catch a glimpse of our youth
who knows what will happen to us
but this moment in our twilight
we are alive and in love.
