Face the battle now, not later.
Instead of basking in the comfort of “readying”
Launch into the fray
Gets your hands dirty.
When you come out defeated
you’ll know what to fix
to win the actual fight.

come, stay and let's talk. it's a good day to be alive
Thanks for seeing me as who I was.
Opening up was a bold move for you.
I marveled at your generous trust.
Buried in the memories, it still remains warm.
I know now I want to have lived having loved more.
To dance more, laugh more, and think more have been on my horizon.
To know I have lived a little then
croons my heart like the tomato red sun.

After the morning ritual,
and a good run of chores,
I stepped out to outside
to marvel at the nature.
I grabbed the tentacle like icicles,
scooped up a slice of cut wood,
and looked at the horizon over the top of the hill.
All was silent, and satisfactory.
I took one step at a time
careful of the slippery ice
and arrived safely to the warm room of my home.

Imagine love.
What does it feel like to you?
Perhaps, like a passionate poem,
a resilient and solemn dedication,
or an enigmatic and mystic riddle?
May you hold on to one that suits you.
May you remember what it meant in the past
And may you continue to grow with those
Who share with you the feeling.

Into the dark room, the white sun light softly landed.
Alighting the room quietly, I stared
as contents of the room surfaced their shapes nakedly.
I cut the carrots with a knife on a cutting board,
stirred cold green tea in a mug cup,
and chewed on bits of tuna from a can.
And I knew, for the first time, what it means to be alone.
I understood what she meant
when she advised me to go to the mountains.

The electricity shut down.
As I sat in a dark still room,
I savored the eloquent tune of silence.
Snow fell outside unflinchingly
and no one moved.
I stared as the dim light shone through window
the wooden floor, the dining table, and the chair stayed barren.
Without distraction, illusions, or deliberation,
I saw what is.
And that satisfied my senses.

Allow me to seek out prudence and wisdom.
Allow me to find warmth and light
Allow me to find humility and diligence.
Walking with calm through the tempest
Holding a firm grip in what are true
And speaking with a full heart are what I seek.

Hold your heart as though your chest is transparent.
In your thoughts, always keep what is right.
In your words out of mouth, make sure they are clean.
Frugal in what you treat yourself,
but be mindful of quality of your meals.
Prudence is a virtual, so is the wisdom.
Have courage, peace in center, and clarity in eyes.
