to catch a whale,
I need to let go a few things:
the comfort of a silent room,
the fullness of my belly,
and shading my eyes
away from the redoubtable creature.
once I identify the whale
fear will overwhelm
my awaken mind,
and before it freezes my mind,
I need to dive in
and dance with the whale.

this blue feeling is like a giant whale
swimming quietly in deep dark ocean
solemnly, redoubtably, moves it does.
inevitable, chilling effect its presence has.
yet, we swim. Mechanically, effortfully we move.
glimpse of the night sky,
blips of scattered star above high
we move and we hope it will be worthwhile.

I walked along the lake of emerald color
out of a jungle of tall grey cement buildings
on street so long that seemed to have no end
but I finally arrived at a flat aquarium
passing by taxidermy of mammoths
that reminded me of American beef
hamburgers I had beforehand
to the plastic wall of pool of emerald color
where white beluga whales swam solemnly
I remember the whales
because I was expecting giant blue whales instead

Yes.
A small yes was where it all started.
An ant compared to a glacier whale
May be a feeble dust in a wind,
But a yes cannot be changed.
It will haunt through thousands of hills,
Lurk in mindless blind spots,
Resounding heartbeats blares its horns
As dusts flares into a grand sand storm.
The ant has said yes.
