Fair

when you realize
the wind is calling you to run faster,
but the mountain builds higher and higher,
when you see there are more rocks to climb
and yet, there are no rewards at the end,
only the punishment,
you sometimes need to stop and stare
at the little things that matter.
and remember to count the breaths
for they are the constant present
and the only thing you will have
until the moment you close your eyes.

Fleeting

this fleeting moment
nothing is permanent
rather than what’s visible
it’s the invisible that lasts longer.

for example:
the soft warmth wrapped by lazy summer sunset
the silky softness summer breeze carries
the quiet steadiness a resolved heart feels.

do not cry;
rather smile.
remember to keep your playful heart
without looking away from the lions.

Plastic bag

be ware of the plastic bag
it’s chasing after you
faster than you are walking away
maybe it finally got upset
to be forsaken on the street like that
maybe it will lash out its vengeance

oh wait
it’s just passing by
I guess it was just pushed by the hard winds
yeah, what can a plastic bag do?
but you know, I heard
global warming might bring wind and some
who knows, the plastic bag,
maybe it wanted to tell you something.

Scent of rain

the season has arrived!
the sky is covered in grey clouds
brooding something mystical
the trees shaking its branches in waves
as gust of wind blows
in the shadows, you can feel it:
there is something magical in all this.
perhaps it foretells a storm to come
nevertheless I love this stormy breeze
under the grey cloudy sky.

Talk

it was a good day to have a talk.
the wind blew like blue ocean waves
sweeping across green tree bushes,
scattering golden light through its paths.
air was clear, sky was spotlessly sweet blue,
river was filled with fish swimming serenely.
perhaps a perfect peace, a piece of heaven abound.
walking on this path with you
perhaps this will be one of the most memorable moment
one that I’ll cherish for a long time from now.

Bicycle

Pedaling on a blue bike, paean of breezy winds bumping along the road

Rumbling sounds of SUVs and pick up trucks passing by, rowdy kids jumping into the lake half naked

Roaring laughter fading away, riding down a long lonely road in between the animate and inanimate nature

Blazing through a carpet of gold laden by the bleeding yolk of the sunset

Rolling stone within the heart spins faster and faster, unleashing the monster hunkered for a thousand of years

Then — whirl — and — crash.

A reaper stands on the door expressionlessly peaking its bald skull over the door sill.

Like a dusky cloud on a simple summer night.

Gratitude

Thank you, for allowing me to see this day light, a stream of crystals glistening the atmosphere that I breath in.

That you, for allowing me to memorize the sound of the wind swooshing like an ocean wave crashing into the bank of sand.

Thank you, for this tantalizing droplet of water, respite of the spirit and body, as it quenches the unresting soul in the heart.
