shivering in cold from still harsh weather
shielding a heart from a world still tougher

and brick buildings

observing passerby
moving seamlessly
I felt the touch of the wind
I felt my feet on the ground.
I felt my arms moving on my sides.
then I thought about you.

that we are both alive
at this time and this place?
