They chewed a good chunk out of you.
Let’s get back up now.
As long as the game is on,
As long as we are awake,
let’s keep learning, keep growing, keep smiling.
Forgive them, and ask for forgiveness.
Now, let’s go after that new chapter.

come, stay and let's talk. it's a good day to be alive
Even if you feel like everyone’s pointing their fingers at you,
even if you feel those you trusted hurt you back,
and even if you feel taken advantage of,
Let us dance.
Yes, you have hurt a plenty of people.
Yes, you have tried to manipulate others.
Yes, you have betrayed their trust and expectations.
For now, let us dance.
Let our hearts sooth,
let our heads sway,
let our feet float.
Slowly, and surely,
let us rejoice this simple joy
of being here, with each other,
at this moment.

Thank you for the walk.
Because I’ve been foolish,
I know this meeting was not an easy one to set up.
It turned out to be a good way to commemorate our friendship.
To observe a like-minded person
operating at a close distance has been a unique experience.
I am grateful for the opportunity,
since it has been a delightfully pleasant one.
Well, the end is here now.
Please take care.

For the sake of humanity,
reach out.
Ask for a chat, for a meal, or for a coffee.
Have the courage ask for a companionship.
Have courage to break out of your own thorny shell,
and have a courage to be vulnerable.
Why?
Because it’s not always gloom and doom,
and the future cannot be it either.
You can handle it.
Believe it and venture outside.

As I heard your tears drop,
I couldn’t help but wonder:
did we really know each other?
Maybe we held onto our secrets till the last moment.
The fork of the path in front of us.
I wondered: do we rage against the sky,
do we hold onto our immovable past,
or how do we deal with our moment?
Once, I saw a dragon with a brave heart,
who inscribed the words of love on it,
and breathed the fire of passion.
Perhaps that’s what it takes to launch into the world.

I walked into a cafe,
and heard someone say my name.
I thought I misheard; or thought she was calling someone with the same name —
but not, she stared straight into my eyes,
and asked, “do you want your usual?”
I said yes — and she pulled out the royal English breakfast tea in a mug cup with the right size.
I sheepishly took my cup and sat in my table.
Her matter-of-fact attitude as she welcomed,
the face that she remembered my name,
and what I usually drink felt like an honor.
It’s a wonderful experience not encountered so frequently.
Just like the warmth of the tea in my hand,
I felt the warmth and levity in my heart.
