I laid down on a hill on night
saw the sky full of stars
I dreamed one day to feel alight
as I take a step forward into the dark
I find strength in knowing the light within
one that brings joy promised to begin

Heart
I dare to raise my head and dream.
no matter how loudly my body scream
it wouldn’t work; that it will crash,
I want to give it my all of my best,
in the hopes that perhaps
when we truly see each other and just
care for what we find precious.
That will be wondrous.

try a smile on your face,

how we learn our fate,
dancing like a raindrop in a storm
ready to rumble when it’s lukewarm
let us be light,
find solace in delight.

Stubborn
there’s a stubborn rock
unwilling to move
no matter how sweet the song is,
no matter how loud the scream is,
it just wouldn’t budge.
I’m going to figure out
what it will take to make it sing of love.

when the window opened wide
and the eternally dark room
suddenly exploded in white light,
my eyes were briefly consumed
tears welled up, and fell off my eyes.
I sat, blinked a few times,
I stood up, stared at the sun
The day has already begun.
