I laid down on a hill on night
saw the sky full of stars
I dreamed one day to feel alight
as I take a step forward into the dark
I find strength in knowing the light within

it may not be such a mystical pursuit,
but rather a logistical one.
let us not wait longingly,
rather, let us actively prepare
to strike when the lightening moment falls.

it’s been a long walk.
And the end is no where in sight.
I stare at the stars,
and feel where the direction is.
it’s a very long walk,
but I hope to get there one day.
and along the way,
hopefully I will meet people
who will share my journey with me.

in the top floor of a high rise,
through window bars of a basement,
in the middle of cemetery,
or amongst ocean of people at a party,

it’s okay if you lose the ground
it’s okay if the tower falls down.
keep staring at the star
and make a wish upon it from your heart.

Starlight
there is a hope
like a lone star in the vast dark sky.
shining weakly, but assuredly.
darkness overwhelms the world
and it feels as thought the light is weak.
but who knows,
gradually, sun may rise over the horizon
and bring the light to the world.
